About the Gurukul
A Free Gurukul for Children Who Cannot Afford Education
Sri Hari Agusteshwar Sanskrit Vidyalaya, located in Odali village, Uttarakhand, has been providing completely free education since 2007 to children from economically weak families.
In our Gurukul, students receive:
- Free education (Sanskrit + modern subjects)
- Free hostel accommodation
- Free daily meals
- Free books and uniforms
Along with education, students also learn discipline, cultural values, and life skills through the traditional Gurukul system.
Many Children Are Waiting, But We Have No Space
Currently, our infrastructure is very limited.
- Only 14 rooms and 1 hall
- Capacity of around 40–50 students
Because of this:
- We are unable to admit new students
- Many deserving children are still waiting
- Families are requesting admission, but we cannot support them
Lack of space is stopping children from getting free education.
Expanding the Gurukul to Support More Students
To solve this problem, we are planning to expand our infrastructure by building:
- New hostel facilities for students
- A proper dining hall
- Improved living and study environment
This expansion will allow us to support 100+ additional students and continue our mission at a larger scale.
